Fugitive Moments I

Movies revealing the workings of the system

The video on the left reveals the 'critter' (made up of atoms and linking 'lines') that drives the evolving ALife system.

The video on the right shows a viewer being linked up to the system. His physiological responses to the imagery should intervene in the progression of the system by changing the parameters of atoms and links, thus shifting the direction of development of the evolving colour imagery. Ultimately the experiments undertaken during the project did not provide sufficient evidence to use the system as the driver of the installation.
